Unless you’re a clueless easygoing Windows Phone user, you’ll know that iOS 7 is rising worldwide today. It’s positively one of a biggest upgrades in iOS’ history, if not the biggest one. Besides being a finish visible renovate of each indentation and cranny of a OS, it adds a garland of welcomed new facilities such as an SBSettings-like Control Center, AirDrop, FaceTime Audio, and call restraint etc., while majorly revamping all built-in apps. You can learn about them all in a notation iOS 7 coverage (in progress). The doubt now is, do we ascent to get all these features, or do we stay on iOS 6 to keep your jailbreak access? In today’s poll, we quickly plead a pros and cons of both before withdrawal a building to you, our readers, to let us know of your thoughts.
If we were to ask this doubt a year ago, a resources would’ve been totally different. For some, iOS 6 felt some-more like a hillside instead of an ascent since of Apple Maps replacing Google Maps though a straightforwardly accessible choice (it took Google Maps several months to make it to a App Store as a third-party app), multiple bugs associated to battery life, and a ubiquitous miss of novelty. we privately stayed on my jailbroken iOS 5.1.1 setup until a jailbreak for iOS 6 was expelled around 6.1.x.
This time around though, we know we will not demur to ascent to iOS 7 a notation it becomes available, because it’s a outrageous ascent in each possible way. iOS was starting to demeanour old, and was exceedingly lagging behind Android in some OS-level features; iOS 7 brings a height behind in that race.
iOS 7 felt infrequently block-ey and nauseating during initial when Apple previewed it during WWDC, though we have grown to like it over a past few months. My impassioned dislike for over-simplified icons stays as clever as ever, though they feel like a minor issue when we see a staggering volume of work Apple has put into iOS 7′s visuals, overhauled systems apps, reworked multitasking (which is now closer to how Android does it), and Control Center, etc.
Part of what creates my preference of upgrading to iOS 7 easy is that we no longer feel a need to use many jailbreak tweaks that we used to rest on. The immeasurable infancy of my peeves with iOS were bound in iOS 5, and iOS 7 is creation things even better. SBSettings? Control Center in iOS 7 has got we covered. Syncing with iTunes wirelessly? We got that in iOS 5! Unlimited apps in folders? iOS 7 takes caring of that. This is loyal for many other jailbreak tweaks and apps as well; a list goes on and on!
That’s it from my side. Now it’s your spin to tell us either or not you are upgrading to iOS 7, and why. Just expel your vote, and sound off in a comments territory below!
