Codec Tweak Tool will scan for broken filters and remove them. If the tool detects something that is broken, it will then prompt you with the details and you will be given the option to remove the broken item. Generate a detailed log of all installed codecs and filters, enable/disable more than 250 popular codecs and filters (if they are installed), manage preferred source filters, and reset settings.

With this tool you can do things like:

This tool is a Swiss army knife for managing codecs and codec settings. Below is a short overview of the functionality that this tool has to offer.
  • Detect broken codecs and DirectShow filters. Fix problems with the standard DirectShow filters of Windows. A fix for a specific sound problem.
  • Generate a text file with detailed information about all installed codecs and DirectShow filters, along with other relevant system information.
  • Reset settings to recommended values for many popular codecs and DirectShow filters.
  • Configure audio output settings for several popular audio decoders.
  • Several configuration options for a few DirectShow filters that don’t have an easily accessible interface for those options.
  • Easy access to the configuration interfaces of various codecs and DirectShow filters
  • Backup the settings of several codecs and DirectShow filters.
  • Replace your current settings with those from a previous backup.
  • Manage DirectShow filters – Enable or disable DirectShow filters.
  • Manage ACM/VFW codecs – Enable or disable ACM/VFW codecs.
  • Enable or disable DirectX Media Objects.
  • Configure your preferred DirectShow source filters (a.k.a. splitters) for several common file extensions.
  • Enable or disable the generation of thumbnails for several common video file formats in Windows Explorer.

LameXP is a graphical user-interface (front-end) for various of audio encoders: It allows you convert your audio files from one audio format to another one in the most simple way. Despite its name, LameXP is NOT only a front-end for the LAME encoder, but supports a wide range of output formats, including MP3, Ogg Vorbis, AAC/MP4, FLAC, AC-3 and Wave Audio. The number of supported input formats is even bigger! Furthermore LameXP does NOT only run on Windows XP, but also on Windows Vista, Windows 7 and many other operating systems.

Hadouken is a lightweight BitTorrent client for Windows written in C# and designed to run as a Windows Service. It has plugin support and is managed completely through a web UI. It is managed through a web interface which is based on the excellent uTorrent Web UI. Designed for power users, Hadouken has native plugin support and can be customized to do almost anything from sending emails on various events to unpacking files, move them around, mount images, poll RSS feeds etc.

Hadouken features:
  • Self-hosted web management interface.
  • Extremely powerful plugin API.

  • Comes bundled with a bunch of useful plugins.
Changelog:
  • Hadouken now uses an existing package manager, NuGet, for managing plugin packages. Since NuGet does a lot of the heavy lifting when installing/upgrading/uninstalling plugins, I can spend more time doing things for Hadouken rather than managing the package manager.
  • Much like Google Chrome, Hadouken now runs each plugin in its own process. The advantages of this is that a crashing plugin can no longer bring down Hadouken. This means better uptime and stability.
  • The web UI has seen a rewrite. It is now based on AngularJS and behaves alot like before. The rewrite will make it easier to write new features and make the UI behave more naturally.
  • There are many more changes under the hood, but these three are the major new features.
